About me

Salem Slater is a tattoo artist, painter, and illustrator from Northwest Indiana whose work is inspired by oddity and nature. She received her B.A. in biological sciences from Indiana University South Bend in 2024, and this background fuels her passion for ecology.

Salem’s artwork and services can be found at different events and locations across the midwest. Salem is a resident artist at Memento Mori Tattoo Studio (Walkerton, IN), but also practices at conventions and occasionally guest spots at other shops. Prints, accessories, and apparel with her artwork can be found at vendor markets, artist alleys, and gallery spaces throughout the year.
